Dropped by for a coffee and toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich. Beautiful Saturday morning sitting by the wharf and have to say one of the best toasted sandwiches I’ve ever had.

Ashton is a legend with beans and beats. Great coffee and tunes and an even better attitude to life. My wife and I thoroughly had a good time, and the atmosphere set the mood for the day. Thanks to the team at Grumpys for being rays of sunshine.

Stumbled across this place as we couldn’t find a restaurant without a waiting time. Heading towards Manly and decided to stop and try Grumpy’s Wharf Cafe.... What a wonderful surprise, I’m not a chef but I’ve worked as a cook in an Italian restaurant for 5 years. I ordered the mussels and they are the best mussels I’ve ever had. The sauce was delicious, the mussels were large and tender. My Mum ordered the calamari, again the best ever. The batter was light and fluffy the calamari was so tender it melted in your mouth. For cafe food it was 5 stars ⭐ .... you could walk down the driveway and they had water view seating. This is truly a hidden gem

Absolutely love this café! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor is cozy yet modern, making it the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. The coffee is top-notch—rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. I tried their cappuccino and it was hands down one of the best I’ve had. Their pastries are fresh and delicious,You can tell they use high-quality ingredients in everything they serve. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Even during busy hours, service is quick, and they make you feel right at home. Whether you’re a coffee or just looking for a great place to unwind, this café is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Sat down in this lovely cafe to meet a friend. Food was lovely, staff trained brilliantly and the views were immaculate. Only a few wharf cafes in the north shore and this is one of the best.
